ADAKA
Students still have time for some improvisation, but emphasis is now on learning the craft of acting. They learn to create an ongoing subtext for their character and to rehearse in a professional manner. They perform for school audiences and the general public at a downtown theatre. Along the way, they also learn skills like fencing and unarmed combat and, if the play has songs in it, work with a choreographer and musical director, but the main emphasis is on learning to ACT.
ULTRADAKA
These students do all of the above and more with more mature material. Their plays usually do not have musical numbers. Past successes include: - Hay Fever; Blithe Spirit; Our Town; The Crucible; The Norman Conquests; Noises Off; Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet; Waiting for the Parade and The Importance of Being Earnest.
PROFESSIONAL KIDS
If your child has professional ambitions or already has an agent and wants to work further on his or her craft, Jill can help you there too. She has coached the young performers on the series Dudley the Dragon and Flash Forward. Current and former students include:

She has appeared in plays both on Broadway and off-Broadway. She has been nominated for a Tony Award and three Young Artist Awards.
